Marc Jacquemin, in der Nähe von Frankfurt am Main geboren, erlebte eine spannende Grundschulzeit an der Mittelmeerküste Algeriens. Nach dem Abitur absolvierte er eine Ausbildung zum Werbefotografen im Fotostudio der Werbeagentur BOEBEL/ADAM BBDO Worldwide Network. Im Leistungswettbewerb des Deutschen Handwerks (PLW) belegte er im Bereich Fotografie Platz 1 in Hessen und Platz 3 in Deutschland. Während eines dreimonatigen Aufenthalts am International Center of Photography ICP in New York City sammelte er neue Erfahrungen im Bereich der künstlerischen Fotografie. Im Städel Museum vermittelt er sein Wissen in zahlreichen Fotoworkshops für alle Altersklassen und leitete dort Führungen in der Ausstellung „Fotografien werden Bilder. Die Becher-Klasse“. Seit 27 Jahren arbeitet Marc Jacquemin als freischaffender Fotograf im Bereich Werbung, Wirtschaft, People, Editorial, Luftfahrt, Kunst und Architektur/Real Estate.

Marc Jacquemin, born near Frankfurt/Main, spent exciting primary school years in Algeria. After completing high school, he did an apprenticeship as an advertising photographer in Frankfurt at the advertising agency BOEBEL/ADAM BBDO Worldwide Network. He won the state award (Land Hesse) for the best apprentice photographer and came third in the national competition organised by the German Chamber of Crafts. A three-month period at the International Center of Photography ICP in New York City followed in which he participated in a range of experimental and fine art photography courses. He taught numerous photo courses to participants of all ages at the Städel Museum and guided through the exhibition “Photographs become pictures. The Becher class”. Marc Jacquemin has worked for almost 25 years as a freelance photographer in the domains of advertising, economy, people, editorial, aviation, art and architecture/real estate.

Marc Jacquemin est né près de Francfort-sur-le-Main. Il a fait ses classes primaires en Algérie. Après le bac, il choisit la formation de photographe publicitaire à l’agence BOEBEL/ADAM BBDO Worldwide Network à Francfort. Il est déclaré par la Chambre des Métiers «Meilleur apprenti photographe de Hesse» puis «Troisième apprenti photographe en Allemagne». Un séjour de trois mois au International Center of Photography ICP á New York City lui ouvre l’horizon de la photographie artistique. Marc Jacquemin travaille depuis presque 25 ans comme photographe indépendant à Francfort. Domaines: publicité, people, informations d´entreprise, éditoriaux, art, aviation et architecture.
